One year after the launch of the hashtag#AntwerpDeclaration, 400 business leaders and industry representatives from across Europe met in Antwerp to discuss the just-published hashtag#CleanIndustrialDeal with Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The message is clear: Deliver the Deal.
The Antwerp Declaration Community calls on EU Heads of States to:
o Restore the business case for investments
o Make possible for companies to have access to affordable energy
o Safeguard high-quality jobs in Europe
o Reduce the administrative burden
Clear and concrete signals are needed to restore investors confidence in Romania as well, and new regulations must make doing business in Romania easier and more competitive.
Europe’s and Romania’s industries are ready to do their part—now it’s time for EU and national leaders to act.
