Its research centers, factories and logistics chains are woven \nacross the continent, providing the ideas and clever materials that \nenable manufacturers to turn out products that keep us clean, safe and \ncomfortable in our homes and as we go about our daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Understanding this industry and its whys and wherefores isn\u2019t \neasy. The forces that shape its locations, challenges and solutions are \nas complex as many of its formulas. To help those keen to acquire an \naccurate picture of the industry, what it does, where, and why, we have \nproduced the \u2018Landscape of the European Chemical Industry\u2019. Providing a \nregional overview and country-by-country snapshots, we hope it will \nenable you to better understand the industry today, the challenges it \nfaces, and our ambitions for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that the scope of the chemical industry differs from one \ncountry to the other.
